The HES Series is the energy-saving dryer for the central plant, built around digital scroll refrigeration compressors that modulate from zero to 100 percent instead of switching on and off. It comes as two families. The HES2500 and HES3000 are single cabinets on 6 in flanges with integrated two-stage separation and filtration, no-air-loss demand drains and energy-monitoring controls. From 3,750 to 12,500 SCFM the dryer becomes a modular water-cooled system assembled from 6 and 10 hp refrigeration modules behind 8 to 12 in flanges, adding capacity and redundancy in the same step. Both hold a 38°F dew point at any load and take inlet air to 130°F.
Two families, one control philosophy. HES2500 and HES3000: one 85 x 55 x 60 in cabinet with two-stage separation and filtration built in, 16.8 and 18.2 kW; HES3750 to HES12500: two to five water-cooled modules of 6 and 10 hp, 15.8 to 49.5 kW, with 2-1/2 in NPT water connections; Energy-monitoring controls on both, reporting kWh and dew point to the plant system; Two-year warranty, extendable to five years with annual maintenance kits.
Where a modulating dryer pays. Modulation saves power on every hour below full load, not just the hours low enough for an on-off dryer to stop; A 10,000 SCFM system averaging 55 percent load runs near 22 kW instead of 39.6, about 150,000 kWh a year of continuous running; The single-cabinet sizes drop straight into a 6 in header where an HPRplus of the same flow would go.

Ratings are at 100 psig and 100°F inlet with 100°F ambient or 85°F cooling water; the modular systems have no single cabinet dimension, since the layout depends on the module count, and the drawing for each is supplied with the quote.
Two single cabinets and eight modular arrangements.
The HES2500 and HES3000 share an 85 x 55 x 60 in cabinet at 2,315 and 2,646 lb with 6 in flanged air connections, DIN flanges available on request. They stand on a level pad with the service side clear for the separators, the drains and the controller. From 3,750 SCFM the system is modular and water-cooled: the HES3750 pairs a 10 hp and a 6 hp module on 8 in flanges with 19 gpm of cooling water, the HES5000 runs two 10 hp modules at 26 gpm, and the count climbs to three modules for 6,250 and 7,500 SCFM on 10 in flanges, four for 8,750 and 10,000 SCFM and five for 11,250 and 12,500 SCFM on 12 in flanges, the largest needing 65 gpm.
Cooling water enters and leaves each system through 2-1/2 in NPT connections; plan the supply and return with isolation valves and a strainer, and confirm the water temperature the rating assumes. The 460 V three-phase feed is standard, with 380 to 420 V 50 Hz, 230 V and 575 V builds available. Run every demand drain to a condensate treatment unit, and pipe a full-size bypass around the dryer so a module or the whole system can be isolated.
The outline above shows the single cabinet; every HES quote carries a dimensional drawing for the exact size, including the module footprint for the water-cooled systems.
