Have ready the compressor horsepower and type (rotary screw or piston, and whether it has an aftercooler), the delivered SCFM if the data sheet is at hand, the line pressure, the inlet air temperature, the hottest the compressor room gets, and what the air feeds. For a replacement, the model number on the existing dryer is enough.
