From Compressor to Dryer

You Send the Compressor
Horsepower and type, delivered SCFM if the data sheet is at hand, line pressure, and the inlet and room temperatures. Or the model number on the dryer being replaced.
Nothing has to be complete; we say what is missing and why it changes the answer.
2.
We Size and Match
The duty is corrected for inlet temperature, ambient and pressure and the first model at or above it is chosen, cycling or non-cycling according to how the plant runs.
Replacements are matched on flow, connections and footprint, then re-checked against the duty rather than copied size for size.
3.
You Get a Part Number
A quote with the model, the rating it is based on, the filter pair and drain that belong with it, the price and the lead time.
After delivery the same desk handles elements, drains, spares and warranty.

The useful question is which model fits the compressor and the job, so this site is arranged by flow band, by compressor and by application as well as by series, and the Sizing & Selection section shows the corrections with worked numbers rather than hiding them in a calculator. Every part number has its own page with the rating, connections, power and dimensions behind it.
Straight Answers
If the compressor room reaches 110°F we say the dryer is one size bigger. If the compressor has no aftercooler we quote the high-temperature model rather than a standard dryer that would lose half its capacity. If the line runs outdoors in winter we say a refrigerated dryer is the wrong tool and that the job needs a desiccant unit. And if a wet line is the fault of a failed drain or a plugged aftercooler rather than the dryer, we say that before quoting anything.
